Just delicious barbecue baked beans and potato salad. Chicken sandwich was good. Plan to try their fish sandwich soon.

After seeing this place millions of times as a kid in the car and driving by it as an adult, I finally tried it this afternoon. I ordered their Steak Hoagie, sub the mayo for light mustard and a can of Diet DP. It was very nicely seasoned, very abundant in meat amount, had just the right amount of cheese, very generous in sautéed onions, tomatoes & lettuce and the bread was really fresh with noticeable softness to it. I generally don't like mayo, but I get a feeling it could be great on this particular sandwich as long as it's not drenched in it. The light touch of tangy mustard added more to the rest. Really good steak subs are practically impossible to find in TX since Jake's on Chimney Rock changed from awesome to awful at those 2020 or 2021 and beyond. Great, welcoming service on this first ever visit.

We have been buying meat, shrimp and devlied eggs off for 14-15 years. Excellent fresh meats, chicken, shrimp, deli items, and the best deviled eggs in town, I think. We are not big on game but we did buy a few times deer loin and it was amazing! Make sure you marinate and cook per Pete's instructions. The service is amazing and the entire team is always very helpful and curteous to us. We love Pete's!

This place is fantastic!!! Always come here with the guys for lunch. Order the BUFFALO BURGER and you will not regret it!! They also have a killer steak hoagie, best ive had so far!
